Holy Week

Long over due post because I wasn't able to find a time to sit down and type what I did during Holy Week, but here you go!

My family except my brother went up to Whistler to check out the weather. Actually scratch that. I don't really know why, but I think my parents wanted us to go somewhere since everyone had a long weekend so we might as well just do something different, right?

Our plan was to go on a mountain trailing, but that changed when we stopped over in Downtown Sqaumish to eat brunch at this All Day Breakfast Diner which by the way, they do serve pretty good food! After eating, we checked out the stores around and there we found a couple of thrift stores. We didn't buy anything though, but that's when we decided to go thrifting instead of trailing!

We walked around Whistler Village after and what got me surprise though was the weather! Before we left the house, mother told us to wear extra warm clothes and bring winter jackets because the mountains here in Vancouver still have snow. When we got there it was HOT! It felt like summer here in Vancouver! We totally misjudge the weather in Whistler! Loved the weather and temperature that day. If only I wore a summer attire, I would have at least enjoyed a mini summer gate away in Whistler.

Speaking of Whistler, I swear my eyes were all heartsy-fartsy under my sunnies! Damn, boys & men, you guys are very attractivee! Sorry boyfriend, I can't help myself sometimes! Teeheee~

Anyway, our last stop was to check out the nearest Re-Use-It Centre (thrift store). Just before I thought that I will be leaving with an empty hand, I found two scarves for $1 each and a $2 hardcase book of The Secret! You wouldn't believe how much the books were! They were like less than 5 bucks, I think? And, just so you know, the book looks perfectly fine! Parang isang gamitan lang, then no more! I want that kind of thrifting!

So that's it! That's just what we did last weekend.

The beautiful day made me misses you too

As I stare the bright shiny day outside my window, I couldn't help but wish that you live in the same place as I do. Vancouver to be exact! I don't mind if you live in another city because for sure we can always meet halfway like we used to remember?

I wish I can spend this time with you as well. Probably a long walk along Stanley Park would be a good idea? Seeing us all dressed up in Summer clothes, walking hand in hand, and maybe sipping iced lemon tea from Starbucks? Ah! For a second there I felt a pinch in my heart. I never knew a beautiful day would make me sad a little here.

There'll probably be a hundred more days that I'll feel this way, but I won't let it happen. I think it's enough that I know there's somebody out there who loves me and who's waiting for me on the other side of the world. It gives a pretty good feeling too that you're not alone! Ehee.

Anyway, I'm just missing you, love.

We will have our own days together. I promise.

• I really dislike it whenever a pub plays a fun/danceable song when my friends and I are about to leave the place. Like SERIOUSLY?! >:/
• Sometimes I still wonder what my life would be like if I went to UST and pursued pre-school education? 
• Whenever I flick through the channels and i see Phineas and Ferb, yun lagi pinipili ko kasi I know Yolec watches it! Am i sweet?! :D Pero I don't really watch it! 
• I discovered a new love in Mrs. Field's packed cookies where you can buy in any convenient/supermarket stores and eating it with any ice cream! I find myself having this almost every after meal in a day!
• I like road trips, but I don't like being in a car/bus for too long. I get dizzy all the time!

Before the day ends, I would just like to greet us a Happy Monthsary! Yesterday, I was thinking about our journey together like how and when it started. And, man our journey is like a roller coaster! Sometimes I couldn't imagine how we were able to survive and still surviving all these times. Although our situation's different, I am still one lucky girl to have you as my boyfriend.

Hang on there, love! We will be together in each other's arms soon enough before we know it!

Frustrated Morning

Won't go into the details, but I am hoping for the rest of the day. I just have to let go, move on, and welcome the beautiful weather of Vancouver!

Surprise! Surprise! Just when I was feeling down, somebody messaged me on facebook telling me he "MiMiss" mee! :) 

Nakakamiss na ang mga friendship! I am still crossing my fingers for my trip this year! Kahit maextend basta same year! 

/I thought I will blog more but I think I will leave this for now. I will save the other entries for later! I gotta run some errands before my night shift tonight! Chao!
